In the video game "Therefore", you as the Wanderer, wake up in the First Realm, a dying world in its last day of existence. You must save this world before the day ends, so passage of time is crucial in gameplay. The day is divided in four periods: dawn, day, dusk and night. The transitions between this periods happen in a realistic and natural way, you will see how game graphics change softly and continously during the day length.

Moreover, different things can happen at the same place in different day moments, paths could be hidden or revealed, characters may be present or not... In this video, the passage of time has been accelerated so you can see the complete day cycle in just 30 seconds.
