We are glad to finally announce the first official trailer of Crisis Crunch. It’s been a long waiting since the last post but, you know, it is not always easy to fight with video edition. Hope it worth it and you like. You will have more news very soon because we hope to start the crowdfunding campaign the next week, and there’s also the trailer of Therefore… Keep an eye on this blog!

We have the scripts, we have the characters designs, we have some scenarios… Even we have a good team. What is missing for starting to develop our games Therefore and Crisis Crunch for real? You got it: the money ;)

The time has come to start the crowdfunding campaign. To make our dreams come true we need your help. In the next weeks you’ll see more information about this topic, where and how to collaborate and the rewards you could obtain for your support. And before all that, we will show you a pair of videos where you could see how the games will be.

Trim Tangle, Innovation Award in Designing Future Forum

Designing Future is an unique event in Europe, a participating forum where you can expose enterprising projects in the face of a specialized public ready to listen you. The last 28th of November, was held the second edition in Hotel AC, in A Coruña. This time, it was shown more than 60 projects including us. We went to present Trim Tangle and the two videogames in which we are working at the moment: Therefore and Crisis Crunch.

After an interesting day of networking, conferences and roundtables, the DF awards gala started, where we received the Innovation Award, one of the four awards that they granted. We are grateful for this recognition to our work, this pushes us to continue stronger.

Do you imagine starting from scratch in an unknown world, without memory and voice?

At Therefore you will be The Walker who arrive to the First Kingdom, a surrealistic and outlandish place near to the middle of the realities of The Tangle. The Kingdom of Kingdoms, a kingdom which is near death.

You have to become into the hero who save it from The Degradation, a weird force that manipulate all and makes collapse everything around you. It won´t be easy because you don´t remember anything, you can´t talk and you are scarcely aware of your power.

Your mision will be undoing injustices, revealing puzzles, learning from yourself (as a player and Walker), meeting The Kingdom residents and choosing one of the multiple ways to save the world which is on the edge looking into the abyss, if you can.

To reach it you will have ancient allies who will help you to remember the weird skills that beat inside you, like combining The Essences which are part of the world that is around you to create millenary objects or beginning the day again and re-starting the working day.

Therefore presents a beautiful and surrealistic atmosphere, where metaphoric and fabulous guard messages which connects videogame world with poetry, philosophy, mythology, music and theatre.

Crisis Crunch is a social criticism against actual problems. This videogame mix comic book appearance with a wild and intelligent script, which has no mercy with the current social outlook. Combining this characteristics the player feels a bond with the main character: Guy Guatamez.

Guy Guatamez, professional intern, is a labour outcast who has fallen into the unemployment. After seen a weird announcement on the newspaper he attends to an interview at Malebolge Corp, a mysterious organization in which he will find a job. That is how Guy ends working at a hell’s corporation, at the delivery department. He gives his soul in exchange so he will have to work for the eternity at the underworld, unable to escape from there, taking part of the 5 percent of human personal, demanded by the union. One day he meets Troubleron, a mysterious demon who has been cursed. Troublerone wants to finish with Lucas Feri, president of the corp, for having housebound his soul in a coffee and snacks vending machine. By this matter Troublerone gives enough reasons, a plan and skills to Guy that will let him defeat the Prince of speculators.

The success of the plan depends on the recruitment of the unhappy humans and sabotage the sin’s departments from the inside. In this adventure, the player have to combine the crazy skills of the characters (accounting super vision, teeth whitening, caffeine acceleration) to resolve puzzles and challenges. Up to 25 different skills.

Crisis Crunch‘s game mechanics replace the typical use of inventory and objects making it more dynamic and fluid, giving importance to the interaction. All this via funny dialogues which makes a sarcastic broad review of current economic, politic an audiovisual matters.
